D.A.S supply confined space stand-by cover and have our own confined space access systems, which use specialised rope access equipment for access and egress methods. Additionally a lifting and lowering back-up safety rigging system is in position to conduct escape and rescue procedures.

Low Risk Confined Spaces
Low risk entries with adequate natural or mechanical ventilation, where access may require consideration, continuous gas monitoring and correct isolations in place.

Medium Risk Confined Spaces
Medium risk that a specified hazard may be present, difficult entry and exit and may require the use of escape breathing apparatus and monitoring

High Risk Confined Spaces
High risk, which involves difficult entry and exit, wearing of self-contained or line fed breathing apparatus.

D.A.S also provide various confined space operations; combined with our standby cover provides a very feasible service for our customers.

First aid and rope rescue training exercises are carried out frequently to refresh and update on any new techniques
